Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse are not in a hurry saying, “I will.”
“Taylor and Travis have been celebrating since their engagement,” an insider told people on Sunday, referring to the couple’s fairy tale proposals announced last week.
“They are not in the planning stage of their wedding yet. Now they just want to enjoy getting engaged and they’re trying to spend time with it,” the source added.
“It has made me feel relieved that there is no longer a need to keep it a secret, and they are happy that it is public.
Both 35-year-old Swift and Kelce rep were not available immediately to Page 6 for comments.
The A-list couple sent a shockwave on Tuesday when they announced their engagement after two years dating via Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” captioned the photo of the proposal, taken at an estate in Kelwood, Kansas.
Page Six learns that Swift and Kelce have kept their “weeks” secrets secrets, and fans are sure the suggestions came soon after filming the pop star’s “New Heights” podcast episode earlier this month.
The athlete’s father, Ed Kelse, cooked out the details of the proposal and revealed that his son had asked Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, for permission to marry her.
“And this was probably a month ago,” he shared on Tuesday’s “Jimmy & Nass Show with Emma.”
Ed also revealed that Travis got a “cruel summer” singer on the proposal site by suggesting that Travis drink a glass of wine before heading to dinner.
The insider says Kansas City Chiefs Star and “Lovers” diva are planning a “private” ceremony with close family and friends.
“It’s going to be more casual than people think,” we say.
The duo had recently seen the state’s $18 million mansion, so it could potentially have its roots in Ohio, where Travis was originally from.
Taylor and the NFL star were first spotted since watching a college football game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday and sharing engagement news.
