Taylor Frankie Paul’s mother acknowledged the “Mormon Secrets” star’s recent “struggles” in a cryptic post Tuesday.
Leanne Mei tagged her daughter in an Instagram Story photo highlighting a Bible verse.
It read, “We often suffer, but we never give up. Even when we don’t know what to do, we never give up. God is with us in times of trouble.”
May told her followers that a ladybug landed on her hand while she was reading the Bible that morning.
“In difficult times, subtle revelations can seem small. They are small symbols that hold meaning and remind us that we are not alone.”
The social media upload also included screenshots of what the ladybug symbolizes, from “transformation and new beginnings” to “divine protection.”
May has yet to comment directly on her daughter’s ongoing scandal.
The drama began earlier this month when news broke that filming for Season 5 of SLOMW had been halted because Paul’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Dakota Mortensen was under investigation for domestic violence charges.
The incident occurred in February and drew accusations from “both sides.”
An earlier altercation, a 2023 brawl that led to Paul’s arrest, has resurfaced in the headlines after footage surfaced of the MomTok star throwing a bar stool at Mortensen while his daughter Indi was in the room.
This headline-making video led to the cancellation of Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” days before it aired. However, I’ve heard that it’s “simply paused” for the time being and may be released to the public.
The Bachelor Nation member, who temporarily lost custody of her son Ever, 2, due to a protection order filed by Mortensen, is currently under investigation for a third incident from 2024.
Although he has not yet commented specifically on the investigation, Paul previously claimed through his agent that Mortensen was an “aggressive and jealous ex-partner who refuses to move on.”
The statement continued: “After enduring years of extensive emotional and physical abuse and threats of retaliation in silence, Taylor has finally found the strength to confront her accusers and is taking steps to ensure she and her children are protected from further harm.”
However, the estate agent “categorically” denied the “deeply upsetting” allegations.
Despite mounting legal issues, Paul remains active on social media, which she defends because it’s part of the job and “I still have to work.”
In recent comments, she said the scandal was “heartbreaking” for Indy, who had to “relive” the trauma of the chair-throwing incident, and for Ever, whose birthday was overshadowed by the leaked footage.
