Taylor Frankie Paul has thanked her fans for their support following the release of a disturbing domestic violence video and the temporary loss of custody of her son.
“I’ll never forget the people I was with during this time ❤️🩹, thank you,” the “Mormon Wives” star commented Monday under a TikTok video of a fan defending him.
“Prayer is what gets us through. Prayer is the only reason I’m still standing.”
The video shows TikTokers calling for the “bullying” of Paul, 31, to stop after a 2023 video of him attacking ex Dakota Mortensen, 33, was leaked last week.
“It’s been such a tiring week that I can’t even imagine how she’s feeling,” the TikToker said. “The internet is cruel. The audacity of people.”
The fan also said that while “everyone is free to have their own opinion”, some critics were “very mean”, adding: “At the end of the day, we don’t know what happened. We don’t know the truth.”
The TikToker pointed out that only his ex-girlfriend knows about the events that occurred before the domestic violence video was released.
“At the end of the day, what I want more than anything is for my kids to be safe,” she added, referring to Paul and Mortensen’s son Ever, 2, and her children Indy, 8, and Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul.
Last week, a video surfaced of Paul allegedly attacking Mortensen and hitting his daughter Indi with a chair.
In the clip, the TV personality claimed that her ex-boyfriend allegedly threw her to the ground and then started hitting her.
The clip was filmed before Paul’s arrest in 2023, when he was charged with three felonies, including aggravated assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child. She was also charged with misdemeanor counts of child abuse and criminal mischief.
In a statement to Page Six, the reality TV star said the video was “conveniently taken out of context” and condemned Mortensen’s “endless, desperate, attention-seeking and destructive campaign to harm Taylor with no regard for the impact on the child.”
Additionally, Paul previously revealed that the charges had been dropped on a September 2025 episode of “Call Her Daddy.”
At the time, she was promoting her season of “The Bachelorette,” which has since been canceled in light of this video and the current domestic violence investigation stemming from the February incident.
Mortensen has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Paul since 2022, but last week Paul filed a restraining order against her and was granted temporary custody of their son.
