Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want. “The Masked Singer” guest panelist Taraji P. Henson (who took off her scarab appearance earlier this season) will return on next week’s “Spice Girls Night” episode in her Scary Spice guise. Zigzaji, ah!
Considering the grueling competition of the Winter Olympics, there will be no new episodes of “The Masked Singer” this week. Instead, Fox will rebroadcast the 2024 special “The Real Full Monty” featuring the late James Van Der Beek, who appeared at an event to raise money and awareness for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
But when “The Masked Singer” returns to “Spice Girls Night” next week, Henson will be there wearing the “Scarab Spice, aka Scary Spice” costume, and Variety has two first looks.
This episode features contestants singing iconic Spice Girls songs, including Crane (singing “Say You’ll Be There”), Snowcone (singing “Wannabe”), and Pugcasso (singing “Too Much”).
And Henson wasn’t the only panelist to dress up as a Spice Girl. Others are:

High Voltage, Pangolin, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, Stingray, Cat Witch, Pugcasso, Snow Cone and Crane remain in the competition as “The Masked Singer” returns next week.
Billy Ray Cyrus (Owl), Teddi Mellencamp (Cara Lilly), Claudia Oshley (Queen Corgi), Taraji P. Henson (Scarab), Tone Locke (Handyman), Tiffany Haddish (Le Foo Foo), Todd and Julie Chrisley (Croissant), and David “Big Papi” Ortiz (Google Eyes) have previously appeared on Season 14 of The Masked Singer.
“The Masked Singer” Season 14-themed episodes include homages to “Star Trek,” the ’90s comedy “Clueless,” the comic book series “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the blockbuster movie “The Twilight Saga.” Fox’s new “Fear Factor” reboot will also feature “Fear Factor: House of Fear Night” host Johnny Knoxville, and “Ozzfest Night” will honor the late rocker Ozzy Osbourne, including a special tribute by “The Masked Singer” alum Kelly Osbourne (Season 2’s Ladybug) paying tribute to her father’s musical influence.
Season 14’s 18 masked contestants include Eggplant, Pukasso, Queen Corgi, Croissant, Owl, 14 Karat Carrot, Snow Cone, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, Gyoggly Eyes, Scarab, Handyman, Crane, Le Fou, Pangolin, Stingray, Cat Witch, and Calla Lily.
According to the show, the season 14 contestants have sold a total of 94 million records, earned 47 Teen Choice Award nominations, 12 Emmy nominations, two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one Tony Award win, and one Academy Award nomination.
Past “The Masked Singer” winners include T-Pain as Monster (Season 1), Wayne Brady as Fox (Season 2), Kandi Burruss as Night Angel (Season 3), LeAnn Rimes as Sun (Season 4), Nick Lachey as Piglet (Season 5), Jewel as Queen of Hearts (Season 6), Teyana Taylor as Firefly (Season 7), and Amber. “The Masked Singer” is from Fox Alternative Entertainment. Rosie Saichik, Craig Prestis and Cannon will serve as executive producers, with Saichik serving as showrunner. The series is based on a Korean format created by Cultural Broadcasting.
