Sydney Sweeney isn’t afraid to style her underwear as outerwear.
The 28-year-old actress, who launched her own lingerie line, Syrn, earlier this year, took to Instagram on Sunday to share shots of the star modeling her brand’s see-through Spellbound Lace T-Shirt ($54) and Sweet Escape High Rise Cheeky Boy Shorts ($24), the latter peeking out from the waistband of distressed jeans.
The uploads also included photos of Sweeney traveling with friends, posing with her dog Sally Bear, and a second lingerie snap that highlighted Syrn’s style.
In a bathroom selfie taken at Hotel Chelsea, Sweeney pairs a Forget Me Not Unlined Balconette Bra ($59) with Booty Call Unisex Knit Boxers ($29), both visible under an open blue Oxford button-up and jeans.
This is the outfit Sweeney was seen in when she was snapped by paparazzi during Syrn’s launch week. Of course, the star had his shirt buttoned up at the time.
When Sweeney introduced Syrn, she said her company was about “the art of teasing.”
It then became clear that her mission statement had multiple meanings.
On the one hand, she practices what she preaches, reviving the visible lingerie trend of the early ’20s and leaning into flirtatious attire teasing overall.
On the other hand, Syrn’s small capsule-specific drop concept is a tease in itself.
Sign has launched four themed collections this winter. And just a few weeks ago, Sweeney announced “Seducer Part 2,” hinting at more styles to be added to each collection.
