Sydney Sweeney left little to the imagination when she attended Variety’s star-studded Power of Women event on Wednesday, October 29th.
The Euphoria star, 28, was honored alongside Kate Hudson, Wanda Sykes, Nicole Scherzinger and Jamie Lee Curtis at the gala, which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Sweeney was definitely dressed to impress for the outing, wearing a Christian Cowan x Elias Mazzo crystal twist-waist gown from Christian Cowan’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, the designer confirmed on Instagram.
The bold ensemble accentuated Sweeney’s curves with shimmering sheer silver fabric, and she paired the glam look with a slick blonde bob, nude lips, and rosy cheeks.

Christie Starr’s latest appearance comes after she spoke to Variety in an interview published on October 27 about how she previously received criticism about her appearance before making it big in Hollywood.
Noting that he has “very strong eyebrow muscles,” Sweeney said, “Someone told me to fix my face, otherwise it wouldn’t work. You should get Botox. I was 16!”

Sweeney went on to explain that sometimes calls are ignored: “Or I’m at a casting and I’m reading my scene and the casting director is eating a bag of chips and I’m like, ‘I’m not paying attention at all.'” ”

Despite previous comments about her appearance, Sweeney’s outlook on cosmetic improvements is firm and she is keen to embrace her natural beauty.
“I’ve never done anything. I’m absolutely scared of needles. I don’t get tattoos. I don’t do anything. I plan to age gracefully,” she told the outlet. “It’s really interesting. I look up ‘comparison photos’ on the internet.” It’s like, “I’m 12 years old in that photo.” Of course, the appearance will also change. Now I wear makeup and look 15 years older. ”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sweeney also commented on her status as a sex symbol, saying, “I play a lot of very polarizing characters, and I think a lot of people think they know me, but that’s not really the case. So when people think, “Oh, she’s a sex symbol,” or “She leans toward sex symbols,” I’m like, “No, I just feel good and I’m doing it for myself and I feel strong,” she told the magazine. ”
“And I hope I can inspire other women to be confident, to flaunt what they’ve got, and to feel good, because you don’t have to apologize or hide or hide in any room,” she claimed.
