Silver Thompson. St. Esprit is represented by Justice & Ponder.
The official logline for the new series states:
“After the prominent mission has turned sideways, Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Moore) is drawn from forced retirement to lead a last-time experimental SWAT unit made up of unpredictable young recruits.
The production is scheduled to start in Los Angeles in late September and will utilize the same production crew that worked for the original show.
Jason Ning is a showrunner and executive producer. Neil H. Moritz and Pubun Shetty from the original films are also executive produced alongside Moore, James Scala and John Cowan. Sony Pictures Television produces and distributes the series globally.
The “SWAT” reboot made its debut on CBS in 2017. The broadcasting network originally cancelled the show after the sixth season, but has announced that it will reverse the course and return to its seventh and final season. The show then earned eight seasons of reprieve, but was cancelled again in March.
