“Survivor” alums Brad and Monica Culpepper’s son Rex has died. He was 28 years old.

Former Syracuse University quarterback Rex died from injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident in Georgia, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Brad, 56, and Monica, 55, have not spoken about Rex’s death.

Rex’s brothers, Honor and Judge, paid tribute to their brother in a joint Instagram post.

“Oh, our Rex, our greatest brother. You were the center of every universe,” the two began a statement they shared on Monday.

“I don’t have words right now. I don’t know if I will,” Honor and Judge continued. “But for now, if you know anything about Rex, please comment your memories so we can read and laugh and cry.”

Savannah Morgan, who Rex became engaged to less than a month ago, also mourned his death in an emotional post.

“Nobody expects to meet the love of their life and lose them just six years after they met,” Morgan said, adding that she “never regrets a single day” of their relationship.

“For myself, and for everyone who cared about him, I don’t think you can ever really move on if you know someone like him,” she continued. “You don’t always come across people like Rex. He was one in a billion.”

Morgan further wrote, “I don’t think this Rex-shaped hole inside me will ever be filled. But seeing how much everyone around him loves him fills my heart.”

Syracuse football also released a statement about Rex, saying he beat cancer at age 20.

“Rex, who played in 30 games, played as hard a game of football as he played his whole life,” the program wrote on social media. “Our hearts are with the Culpepper family and all those who loved him.”

Rex played for Syracuse from 2017 to 2020, during which time he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and underwent extensive chemotherapy.

He was declared cancer-free in June 2018.

Rex seems to have inherited his love of football from his father Brad. The former NFL defensive tackle played for the Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Chicago Bears before retiring in 2000.

Brad and Monica appeared on Survivor: Blood vs. Water in 2013.

Monica also appeared on ‘Survivor: One World’ in 2012, and Brad appeared on ‘Survivor: Game Changers’ in 2017.
