“Summer House” best friends Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller are feuding amid rumors that the former is having an affair with the latter’s ex, West Wilson, Page Six reports.
Batula and Miller’s friendship is currently under strain, reportedly due to speculation about Wilson’s infidelity.
In fact, we hear that Batula, 34, and Miller, 30, were scheduled to jointly film Olly’s Amazon Live presentation on vitamins and supplements earlier this week, but ended up filming it separately.
Notably, they haven’t liked each other’s Instagram posts in recent weeks, and it appears they haven’t liked many of their past posts.
Representatives for Miller, Batula, Wilson and Bravo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Rumors of a relationship between Batula and Wilson first started swirling earlier this month, when a source told Dumoi that the two were “openly flirting and were even spotted holding hands under the table” at an event in New York City.
At the time, neither side publicly denied the conversation.
And when the topic came up during Wilson’s appearance on “Live Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Tuesday night, he explained:
“We’re just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I have to show her around the city, okay?”
The 30-year-old added, “Even if it’s not clear, she’s a very important person to me and I care about her very much,” and when pressed further, he called Batula a “friend.”
After Wilson’s comments aired, one Instagram user theorized, “West is Amanda’s safe best friend because they never date. He’s a lot of fun, values his friends, and they have mutual friends that they hang out with all the time.”
Batula replied to the comment by saying, “Thank you.”
Amanda Batula Swim founder and estranged husband Kyle Cook announced their divorce in January after four years of marriage.
Fans of “Summer House” are watching to see how the marital breakdown unfolds in season 10 of the currently airing reality show, which was filmed last summer.
Miller and Wilson were caught on camera supporting Batula through her romantic struggles.
In fact, on Tuesday’s episode, Wilson comforted a crying Batula and stood up to Cook, 43, for being furious with her.
In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Batula praised Miller and West for their support.
“It would have been very difficult to get through this summer without Ciara. She’s one of the kindest, loving, loyal friends I’ve ever had. She texts me out of the blue and reminds me of how strong, powerful, smart, and kind I am. I don’t think she even realizes how much I need those text messages,” Batula told the magazine.
“Also, how supportive West has been throughout the season meant so much to me in a way that I didn’t realize while filming. It’s not an acting thing, it’s just being really authentic about who West is. He’s checking on Kyle, putting him in his place, and you’re going to see him be there for me throughout the season.”
At the same time, viewers of Summer House season 10 will see Miller and West work through their unresolved romantic feelings for each other following their messy breakup following season 8. Their current relationship status is unknown.
As for Cook, he told Cohen on the March 10 episode of WWHL that he “doesn’t think there’s any merit” to speculation that his estranged wife is seeing friends.
The Loverboy founder continued, “It would certainly surprise me and it would feel a little bit reckless. And I think it’s probably not me that people are worried about. Ciara probably has something to say.”
He always added: “But if it makes Amanda happy, then I think we should vote ‘yay!'”
Neither Batula nor Wilson had publicly quieted down the “noise” at that point, and Cook found it “outrageous” that it had not stopped.
