Brendan Fraser is in the round to promote his new films, “The Atertical-Bound,” and “Rental Family,” which are scheduled for release by The Seatlight Pictures on November 21st.
“The viewers are more focused and there’s an option to skip the next skip if you want,” he said. “We welcome that as a challenge. It means you have to up your game and make more careful choices.”
Fraser said “Rental Family,” which premiered on September 6th at TIFF, was a simple choice as it was so different from other projects. The actor plays Japanese actor Philip. Philip works as a professional proxy to help those who are sad immediately.
“So far, it’s been far from what I saw,” he said of the project. “It was to be filmed in Japan, Tokyo, other parts, the nature of the story. It was an unusual way to meet the needs of people who lost their families. It looked like a villainless movie.
In other Fraser News, the actor revealed that he has “placed his best actor Oscar for “whale” on the shelf next to the fireplace. If someone breaks and wants to steal it…”
He also revealed, “I wear a thumb ring, so the night I was given it, I was so nervous, so there are some scars on it…”
