Stella McCartney’s runway show was a family affair.
The talented designer himself, the proud Nepobaby of music and art icons Linda and Paul McCartney, celebrated generational talent on and off the catwalk during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday.
The first-class audience was filled with parents and children. MGK brought his 16-year-old daughter Casey Baker, and the “Emo Girl” singer looked casual in a white tank top with “Hardcore” written on it, baggy jeans and a distressed jacket slung over her shoulders. Meanwhile, Casey looked effortlessly chic in a gray knit minidress, metallic heels ($1,090), and dark sunglasses.
Helen Hunt was also seated with her 21-year-old daughter Makenna Rae Carnahan, who both opted for tailored suit separates and accessorized with bright red accessories.
And of course, select family members were there to cheer, with close friends Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King sitting alongside neighbors and friends Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann.
Winfrey slipped into her new uniform of wide-leg pants and a double-breasted blazer, with a button-down shirt underneath. Her overall look is designed with tan and peach tones.
King also stuck to her favorite silhouette, pairing it with a knitted pencil skirt and asymmetrical top.
Wintour opted for a bright burgundy dress, which she paired with a houndstooth plaid coat. On her feet, she wore snakeskin boots and layered a colorful Rivière necklace.
Of course, proud parents Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell also sat in the front row.
On the runway, a look with a tank that read “My Dad is a Rock Star” summed it up.
