The Korean Film Council selected Park Chan Wook’s “other choice” as the country’s submission to the best international function at the 98th Academy Awards.

The dark comedy adapted from Donald E. Westlake’s novel “The Axe” premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where he competes for the Golden Lion.
