The weekend was all about love and hip hop.
Rapper Tommy Lee, 41, was filmed giving fellow artist Solange’s 21-year-old son, Julez Smith, a piggyback ride, in a video captured from his Instagram page.
In a social media video posted by a fan to X on Monday, the model can be heard saying, “That’s what you do when you fall in love with someone,” referring to carrying around the “Love & Hip Hop” star, who is two years older than her mother.
Lee then turned the camera flash down to show off her bare legs as Smith continued down the road carrying her.
The TV personality called her “baby” as he rested his head on the runway star’s back.
“I’m the driver,” Lee quipped, to which Smith added, “It’s hard to stay calm when you have someone on your back.”
“I’m still fine,” she replied kindly.
Later in the video, Lee talks about having to go get someone out of jail and calls it a “crazy weekend.”
A fan who posted the footage on social media wrote on top of the video: “Tommy Lee and Solange’s son (Julez) allegedly went out last night.”
“Why is Tommy Lee with Julez??” they asked in the caption.
Page Six has reached out to Smith and Lee’s representatives for comment.
Lee is the mother of daughters Havari and Samaria, as well as four other children over whom she does not have custody.
For years, the artist has struggled to stay in the public eye.
In 2019, Lee was arrested after appearing in court drunk.
According to TMZ, she was arrested at the time after her blood alcohol level returned to more than twice the legal limit, which was a bail violation.
Lee was in court for a hearing on a child abuse case. In January, she was indicted on multiple charges stemming from an October 2018 incident at a middle school where she allegedly grabbed a child by the hair and forced his head into a metal locker.
However, Lee admitted that he had a problem and was receiving help.
“Since returning home, I have been working hard on my problems, considering the challenges set before me,” the musician told TMZ. “Although I have done everything I can to change my habits, I recognize that I need help and am currently seeking treatment.”
Lee was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but did not serve any time because he was given a suspended sentence and was hospitalized and completed a recovery program.
Meanwhile, Smith, whose father is Solange’s ex-husband Daniel Smith, made her first runway debut at the Lure Fall 2024 show.
His mother, aunt Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and grandmother Tina Knowles were all in the audience to cheer him on.
Since then, Smith has appeared in various luxury shows at Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week.
