They are back in black.
At least as far as the Coppola-Mars family is concerned, they showed up to the Museum of Modern Art’s Film Benefit in New York City on Wednesday night in coordinated, classic style.
Hosted by Chanel, longtime friend and house muse Sofia Coppola attended with her husband Thomas Mars and teenage daughters Romy and Cosima Mars.
The three women coordinated head-to-toe Chanel looks, wearing black dresses of varying lengths and styles and accessorizing with classic accessories from the storied French design house.
Sophia chose a long, sequined, long-sleeved gown straight from Matthew Blasey’s first Chanel runway.
Pointed-toe pumps peeked out from the hem of the handkerchief of the dress that hung around her ankles. The esteemed director added more sparkle with diamond drop earrings and a Cartier diamond bracelet on her right wrist.
Kosima, 15, showed off a little more leg in a printed silk minidress that was belted at the waist. It featured a flounced skirt and a backless halter neck silhouette. She carried a metallic silver quilted Chanel bag and wore embellished slingback heels.
Her sister Romy, 18, wore classic black with a sheer camisole and pleated maxi skirt with a slit in the front. She added a black mini flap bag and sparkly silver and black cap-toe pumps. Both are classic Chanel designs.
The trio doesn’t often appear in public together, but when they do, they’re sure to discuss their looks beforehand.
Back in July, Coppola and her daughters appeared together at the Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2025 fashion show in Paris wearing coordinating pastel looks. Romy and Sofia wore baby blue, while Cosima chose pale pink.
While Romy is busy on social media making a name for herself as Nepobaby, her younger sister Cosima has stayed out of the spotlight so far.
But with more public appearances on her calendar, there’s plenty of time for her sister to come into her own.
