Snoop Dogg sent love to his daughter Cori Broadus after she announced the death of her 10-month-old baby girl Cody.
On Saturday, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper shared a photo of himself with three of his four children, Cori, 26, and sons Corde Broadus, 31, and Cordell Broadus, 28 (Snoop is also the father of son Julian Broadus, 27).
“💖🙏🏾,” he captioned the post.
As Kody’s family comes to terms with his tragic death, several fans took to the comments section of Snoop’s post to offer their condolences.
“Sending love to you all,” one user wrote.
“Sending prayers and love. I’m so sorry,” another woman added.
“Prayers and thoughts to you and your family 🤲🏾🕊️,” a third person commented.
“Sending love and positive energy to the whole family 🙏🏽,” a fourth netizen said.
The 16-time Grammy nominee’s post came after Cori announced that her baby girl had died 10 months after she was born prematurely in February last year.
“On Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Kodi,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, alongside a black-and-white photo of her cradling her baby in the hospital.
Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Duce, also mourned his daughter’s death online.
“I’m the saddest since you broke up with Kody Draw,” he wrote above a photo of himself cradling the toddler. “But I know you’re safe. Daddy will always love you, my baby.”
Last month, Cori said she was finally allowed to bring her baby home after 10 months in the NICU.
“She’s home. 🤍,” the new mom captioned a photo of herself cuddling her baby in bed on Instagram’s Merry-Go-Round. “Thank you for all the prayers, all the messages, all the love. God heard them all. 🕊️✨”
In February 2025, Cori announced that she had given birth to Kodi by caesarean section six months early.
Cori revealed that at the hospital, doctors told her she had HELLP syndrome, a pregnancy complication that affects the liver and blood system.
She claimed, “If we had waited a few more days, things would have been really bad.”
