New season, more cards parody.
Saturday night live was enjoyed multiple times with Donald Trump during the season 51 premiere on Saturday, October 4th.
During the Cold Open, Colinjost starred as war secretary Pete Hegses as he mocked new requirements for members of the Armed Services.
When referring to “the greatest threat to freedom and democracy the world has ever known,” James Austen Johnson suddenly appears as Trump, declaring the threat as “late night television.”
“I’m looking at SNL here. Make sure they don’t make too much sense about me,” joking Johnson, 79. “They should be careful.”
“I know late night television like the back of my hands,” he added, revealing a mismatched makeup on his body. “It doesn’t look good now.”

Johnson then teased that 43-year-old Jost should finish his sketching and write a Spirit Airlines joke, and joked in connection with a poem that President Trump denied writing sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“It’s SNL season 51. We should have called that at 50, right?” SNL’s Trump continued. “It’s so sad to see something old and confused, but still require constant attention.”
“Oh, well, but they’d be better off doing their best, or they’d have to answer my attack dogs at the FCC, Brandon Kerr added.
Mikey Day then appeared as a dancing car, correcting the cards and saying, “It’s actually Brendan, Sir.”

The parody also summarises some of the things that happened over the summer, including claims that President Trump ended the war, but at first glance it appears that they have begun a new conflict.
“I’ve finished all the wars. Each of them is even more vicious than ever, except for the two major ones that are still going on,” Johnson joked. “And despite all governments being shut down, we are soon beginning a new war in Venezuela.”
Ocking at the person who asked where the funds for the war came from, Trump said, “I’ll tell them with my scam. My beautiful scam.”
The cold open then approached its end, and Johnson declared, “Go here and remember Daddy’s look.”
Saturday Night Live will air on NBC over the weekend.
