Sydney Sweeney is the golden girl.
The 28-year-old actress stripped down and posed for W Magazine’s Best Performances issue wearing only shimmering metallic body paint and a Chopard Haute Joyeilly necklace.
The striking visual is reminiscent of Kim Kardashian’s infamous silver bodypaint photo from the November 2010 issue of Glossy magazine, which first made headlines for the reality star’s nearly full-on look, then for her disappointing protest that she was being “used” by the magazine.
But while the Kardashian shoot ended in a breakdown on “Kourtney and Kim Shoot New York,” Sweeney is embracing the glow.
The “Housemaid” star was photographed in soft focus with her arms strategically placed in front of her chest and her hair styled in a short, curly bob. Sweeney praised photographer Tyrone LeBon on Instagram, calling him “incredible.”
The magazine photographed 16 stars, including George Clooney, A$AP Rocky and Emma Stone, on various covers for the issue, but Sweeney was clearly the least clothed of them all.
In the interview, she talked about off-screen happenings, including her “Sid’s Planet”-themed birthday party and the pop culture legend behind the shooting star dress she wore to celebrate (Britney Spears wore the same dress on the cover of her 2008 album “Circus”).
“We were out of this world. My friends were really into the theme,” she said.
She also recalled a time in middle school when she wore wedge-heeled Converse shoes (“I liked sneakers, but I felt like my legs were so short,” she explained. “Sneakers were an interesting choice. Sorry, Converse, but they just didn’t fit.”)
The “best performance” nod came at a bittersweet moment for the star. Critics praised her physical transformation in the boxing biopic Christie, but she was not selected for the 2026 Golden Globe nominations.
Meanwhile, “The Housemaid” has been a huge hit at the box office, and a sequel is already in the works.
