Hulu has revealed that season 5 of its hockey comedy series “Shoresy” will debut on February 21st. The series has also been renewed for Season 6, which will air in 2027.
According to the logline, the new season will see Shoresy and the Bulldogs “fight to protect the North American game.”
Series creator Jared Keeso returns as Shoresy. Other returning cast members include Tasha Telles, Blair Lamola, Keilani Rhodes, Jonathan Ismael Diaby, Terry Ryan, Ryan McDonnell, Andrew Anzanen, John Mirasty, Brandon Nolan, Jordan Nolan, Burke Cazabon, Keegan Long, MacLean Fish, and Camille Sullivan.
“Shoresy” is an original title from Canadian streamer Crave, which is also home to the small-town comedy series “Letterkenny” and the recent smash hit romance drama “Heated Rivalry.” Jacob Tierney, who created “Heated Rivalry” for television, directed 12 episodes across the first two seasons of “Shoresy.” Tierney also directed, wrote, and starred in all 12 seasons of “Letterkenny.”
Keeso is not only the executive producer and writer, but also the star and creator. Dan Skeen and Sean Skeen are series directors. Mark Montefiore and Kara Hafridson serve as executive producers under their New Metric Media banner. The series is distributed by New Metric Media.
