Apple TV+ has released the first look video of Season 2 of the Japanese-French co-produced drama “Drops of God” starring Fleur Gefflier and Tomohisa Yamashita.
The second season will consist of eight episodes and will premiere on January 26, 2026, with weekly releases following the first episode until March 11, 2026.
The drama, based on the Japanese manga series of the same name, takes place in the world of gourmet food and fine wine. In the second season, Camille and Issée go on a mission to unravel the mysteries surrounding the world’s best wines.
The official show description reads, “What begins as a quest for heritage becomes a quest for truth across a continent and centuries, unearthing forgotten history, hidden rivalries, and secrets buried for generations. A quest that leads them to discover the world’s greatest… Pushed into their darkest corners, Camille and Issei must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice. The answer could shatter their bond as brothers…or destroy them both.”
Legendary Entertainment’s “Drops of God” is produced by Les Productions Dynamic in association with 22H22 and Adline Entertainment. The series was produced by Klaus Zimmermann, directed by Oded Ruskin, and created by Quoc Danh Tran.

Prime Video has ordered a new documentary series about the Gilgo Beach serial killer, “Killing Ground: The Gilgo Beach Murders.” The series will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
The synopsis reads: “From 1996 to 2011, Gilgo Beach, New York becomes a haunted place where 11 bodies are discovered, their deaths shrouded in mystery, and no suspects identified. This chilling series is set in modern times. “One of the most infamous unsolved crimes is unraveled, and now the main suspect heads to justice. With unprecedented access, the inside story delves into the depths of this horrific case and explores the soul.” It depicts individuals capable of doing the unthinkable while exposing the systemic flaws that allowed them to slip through the cracks. ”
Brian Volk-Weiss, Cisco Henson, Matt Otcher and Phil Donlon will executive produce the series for Nasser Company. “The Killing Ground: The Gilgo Beach Murders” is executive produced and directed by Empress Films’ Emma Cooper. Eben Davidson also serves as executive producer for Empress Films.

Netflix has released the first trailer and new images for its new drama series Death by Lightning, which will premiere on November 6th.
According to the logline, Death by Lightning will consist of four episodes that will bring to life “the epic, stranger-than-fiction true story of the reluctant 20th president of the United States, James Garfield, and his greatest admirer, Charles Guiteau.”
The limited series stars Shea Whigham (Roscoe Conkling), Michael Shannon (President James Garfield), Matthew Macfadyen (Charles Guiteau), Nick Offerman (Chester Arthur), Bradley Whitford (James Blaine), and Betty Gilpin (Creta Garfield).

Paramount+ has released the official trailer and first look for Season 4 of The Mayor of Kingstown, which premieres on Sunday, October 26th.
According to the synopsis, Season 4 will see “Mike’s control of Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left behind by the Russians, forcing him to confront the resulting gang wars and stop them from engulfing the town. Meanwhile, as those he loves are more in danger than ever, Mike must battle a stubborn new warden to protect his life while battling the demons of his past.”
The series stars Jeremy Renner, Edie Falco, Lennie James, Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Hundley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Alan Headley, and Nishi Mansi.

Netflix has released the official trailer and first look images for Season 2 of the satirical comedy series The Vince Staples Show.
The second season, which will premiere on November 6, will center on Vince Staples as he overcomes the aftermath of his tragic death. Season 2 follows Staples inside the rapper’s mind, as “he embarks on a wild journey in search of inner peace, but the path is littered with reminders of his sordid past,” the logline reads.
The rapper will star as himself in the six-episode series, alongside recurring guest stars Vanessa Bell Calloway and Nate Jones. They will be joined by newly announced guest star Zack Fox. “The Vince Staples Show” is produced by Staples, Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams.
Staples also executive produces along with Kenya Barris, Corey Smith, William Stephen Smith, Andrea Sperling, and Leonard Chan.

In The Black Network has acquired a slate of Latinx content, spearheaded by Liana Mendoza, Head of Latinx.
The acquisition goals reflect the network’s mission to meet the growing demand for content that resonates with underrepresented communities.

Valerie Meraz has been named senior vice president of content and acquisitions at Fox. The appointment was announced Thursday by Prentice Fraser, head of Fox Entertainment Global’s plexi, and will report to Meraz. According to Fox, “Meraz will lead a comprehensive content acquisition strategy that includes sourcing, evaluation and negotiation for the global distribution of world-class content across all formats (scripted, unscripted, format and film).”
Meraz’s resume includes stints at WarnerMedia, Showtime, and Turner Networks, as well as positions at Instagram, Twitch, and TikTok.
