Shirley MacLaine is still living her best life.
The 91-year-old iconic actress was photographed enjoying a plate of oysters with a beer on Monday in Malibu, California. McClain, wearing a mint green hoodie and black glasses, grinned at the camera as he held a fork.
The table she was sitting at also showcased a plated burrito during a casual lunch outing.
McClain was last seen arm-in-arm with a male companion during a daytime outing at Malibu’s celebrity hotspot Nobu in January.
Mint green seemed to be her color and she wore a baggy pastel t-shirt with khaki pants.
The “Steel Magnolias” star clearly loves going out for a leisurely lunch. She was photographed enjoying a meal at Christie’s in Malibu in August 2024.
The restaurant is a favorite of the Oscar winner, and she has previously been spotted eating there twice a month.
McClain is still working hard. Deadline reported last month that she was set to headline the new film Margaret and Stevie.
The film revolves around Margret Ray, the co-author of Curious George, as the author and illustrator approaches her final years as “publishers move to reshape her legacy and rewrite her place in literary history,” according to the newspaper.
Ray befriends an unlikely companion in Stevie, who motivates her to protect her story and reclaim authorship of her life.
In an interview with People magazine in April 2024, McClain said she owed her longevity to her dancing background.
“I started training in dance at age 3 and stopped when I was about 67. I learned discipline, loving music, working with people, and dealing with pain,” the former Broadway star explained.
She also said she remains grateful.
“I have friends and I’m very healthy,” she said.
