Shia LaBeouf addressed his Mardi Gras arrest in a cheeky social media post after his release on Tuesday.
“Please free me,” the actor tweeted early Wednesday morning.
The 39-year-old “Even Stevens” alum also shared a close-up selfie of herself wearing a purple, gold and green necklace and smiling in black sunglasses via X.
The former Disney Channel star hasn’t posted on the platform since December 2025, when he showed off his and ex Mia Goth’s 3-year-old daughter Isabel’s massive back tattoo.
On Tuesday, LaBeouf was taken into custody and charged with two counts of simple battery after a scuffle in the Big Easy.
He appeared before a judge that afternoon and returned to the party immediately after leaving the Orleans Parish Jail in Louisiana.
The “Halls” star then walked two miles to the Mardi Gras parade route and bought clothes to change into at Voodoo Mart, according to the Daily Mail.
LaBeouf, who has struggled with sobriety for years, was seen drinking beer as he rejoined the crowd.
Employees at various bars told The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday that the “intoxicated” former child actor has been “terrorizing” the city since Thursday.
Page Six reported that LaBeouf’s relationship with Goss, 32, ended quietly last year, after footage circulated of LaBeouf being punched on the streets of New Orleans and being treated by paramedics.
It remains unclear if the duo, who have been together on and off since 2012, are divorcing at this time.
We hear that LaBeouf moved to Louisiana to be closer to family, but Goss still lives in Los Angeles.
The “Frankenstein” star married LaBeouf in Las Vegas in 2016.
The two broke up two years later, but got back together in 2020 and went on to welcome children.
The two have kept their love life private for many years, rarely speaking about each other in interviews.
