SGG Media has appointed former Imagine Entertainment president Michael Rosenberg, Kevin Goetz and David Friendly to its advisory board.

Founded in 2020, Troy and Mark Paul founded SGG Media as a social media advertising company for sports and entertainment marketing. With the addition of Mr. Rosenberg, Mr. Goetz and Mr. Friendly, SGG Media will continue to work with studios and entertainment-driven creators to find new ways to target audiences around the world.

“We are excited to add to our advisory board three highly regarded entertainment industry veterans, Michael Rosenberg, Kevin Goetz and David Friendly,” said Troy Paul. “We are proud of our growth in the sports world over the past five years. Their expertise has helped facilitate the company’s natural expansion into entertainment. Our unique model is built on engaging trusted creators to amplify our content, and we can’t think of better partners than studios like Universal, Lionsgate, and Sony Pictures who produce such incredibly creative and engaging content.”

Mr. Rosenberg previously served as co-chairman of Imagine Entertainment, joining the company in 1988 as vice president of marketing and distribution and later being promoted to president of Imagine Entertainment. Prior to joining Imagine, he was president of Saul Zaentz Production Company.

Goetz is the founder and CEO of Screen Engine, a global leader in entertainment research and strategy, serving film studios, television networks, and streaming services around the world. As a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Television Academy, and the Producers Guild of America, Getz serves on the boards of six nonprofit organizations.

Friendly has worked as a film producer and film executive for more than 30 years and has produced more than 25 films. Friendly previously served as the Academy Award-nominated producer of Little Miss Sunshine, starring Abigail Breslin, Paul Dano and Steve Carell. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Academy’s Producers Division and serves on the PGA Board of Directors.
