Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, the fan-favorite couple from ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise, are launching a weekly podcast series about their lives after the TV cameras stop rolling.
The duo’s new podcast, “Not Wedding to This,” will premiere on March 12 on all SiriusXM, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and other major audio platforms. The show is produced in partnership with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network.
According to the description for Not Married to This, the show sees Pitt and Amabile “tackling everything from overcoming their 11-year age gap to deciding who would be the better ‘traitor’ to debating whether Lizzie McGuire represents a generation.” Listeners will have a “front row seat to ever-evolving pop culture deep dives, hot takes, relationship advice, and in-depth interviews with your favorite reality TV stars, all from the perspective of two reality TV veterans who were there.”
Pitt, 28, and Amabile, 39, met on Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, culminating in Amabile’s proposal on the beach. They married in October 2022 in New York City.
“Serena and Joe have created a truly fun and thoughtful take on a show and moment that everyone is already talking about,” Alex Cooper said in a statement. “They bring both the fan perspective and their own behind-the-scenes insights, which makes their conversations incredibly interesting.”
In a joint statement, Serena and Joe said, “Sharing this growth with the community that has supported our relationship since the beginning is a natural next step for us. We share everything. From our latest fights and love quotes to trending pop culture moments, we can’t stop texting.”
Cooper, host of the popular podcast “Call Her Daddy,” has signed a multi-year deal with SiriusXM worth up to $125 million in 2024. She launched Unwell Network in 2023 through Trending, the media company Cooper founded with her husband Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment. In addition to “Call Her Daddy,” Unwell Network’s shows include “Extra Dirty with Hallie Batchelder,” “In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele” and “Boyfriend Material With Harry Jowsey.”
