Selena Gomez is on a winter break, and yesterday pictures of her and Nina Dobrev enjoying a girls’ trip with friends in Los Cabos, Mexico, were shared.
This afternoon, the actress gave fans a first look at her trip, but it wasn’t the type you might expect. Instead of posting photos of beaches and yachts, Gomez shared a photo of herself napping on her hotel bed with her iPad nearby on her Instagram Stories. She wore a strapless brown bandeau and peach and white striped pants.
The Instagram Story was published hours after paparazzi published a photo of Gomez wearing a chic pink dress on the beach with friends.
Gomez also spent time in the area on her bachelorette trip ahead of her wedding to Benny Blanco in September. The star took a group of friends to Cabo San Lucas in August and later posted a series of photos from the trip on Instagram.
However, Gomez may be heading back to Los Angeles soon. The Acting Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, will be held this Sunday. She is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series along with her “Murder in the Building” co-stars.
In January, Gomez and Blanco made their first awards season appearance as newlyweds at the Golden Globes. The actress leaned into Old Hollywood style and attended the show wearing a white Chanel feathered dress.
Gomez has been upbeat about her married life with Blanco, telling Zane Lowe in November, “It’s been such a dream so far and I know it’s going to have its ups and downs, but he’s the most beautiful person I could ever marry.”
