The Rare Beauty founder attended the launch event for her brand True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation LA wearing a satin minidress with a white embellished neckline. She accessorized with hoop earrings and white heels.
Rodrigo’s dress featured folded sleeves and a bold collar with contrasting white accents. Fans pointed out that it resembled the dress she wore on Saturday Night Live in 2023.
This isn’t the first time Rodrigo has worn a pink minidress this season. She wore a more formal pale pink Saint Laurent look by Anthony Vaccarello to last month’s Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Minidresses are a celebrity staple during the warmer months, but Rodrigo and Gomez’s matching pink moment hints at the return of girly color this spring. Last year saw an increase in ballet pink, a paler version of that shade, as fashion lovers embraced balletcore.
Gomez’s appearance comes weeks after she spoke to People magazine about the current beauty era, calling it “classic, maybe a little sexy. It has a flirty feel.” “I think I’m still young. I like a bit of a flirty, classic look.”
