Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are starting their first humanitarian trip of the year in Jordan, and the Duchess of Sussex has already sported two very different outfits on her first day of engagement.
The Duchess of Sussex started the day at a World Health Organization roundtable in Amman, Jordan, where she and Prince Harry met with key donors and humanitarian partners. She opted for a white monochrome look with a Veronica Beard jacket and matching top and pants. The Duchess wore her hair down in loose waves.
The couple then visited the Questscope youth center in Zaatari refugee camp near Mafraq. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Jordan tweeted details about the couple’s stay, writing: “We were honored to welcome The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, to @ZaatariCamp. They met young @refugees at the @Questscope youth center and played football with the children.”
Meghan switched to a more casual look, wearing an olive top, tan pants, and a white shirt. She completed her look with Vince shoes.
As the day progressed, Meghan slightly modified her second look, changing into a black long-sleeved top for her and Prince Harry’s visit to a specialist hospital in Amman. There, the couple met Maria, a 14-year-old burn patient from Gaza, and other patients.
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry announced their trip to Jordan last night. The royal family was informed of the visit in advance, and the newspaper reported that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were attending in conjunction with the World Health Organization.
The couple will spend two days in Jordan with WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Their efforts “focus on humanitarian health response, mental health, and support for vulnerable communities most affected by conflict and displacement,” People magazine writes.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their last humanitarian trip in 2024, visiting Nigeria in May and Colombia in August.
