Taylor Swift’s fiance, Travis Kelse, provided a subtle public response to her partner’s new album, “Life of a Showgirl.”
Travis Kelse was one of the first people to hear Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl, and he was the chief muse of the album. The Kansas City Chiefs were relatively quiet on social media today as fans incorporated their fiancee album. However, he gave Swift a show of subtle support in unexpected ways.
Rapper 50 Cent dropped Swift’s name with the song “Ruin the Friendship,” but posted on Instagram about The Tribute. “@taylorswift shit is popping now, 😏 She screams me, 🤫 She shouldn’t scream you lol 😆 This is a big timer only!
Kelse liked this post and marked his first (somewhat) official reaction to any song about Showgirl’s life since its release. “Ruin the Friendship” is one of the few tracks that aren’t Kelse. Instead, Swift expresses her regret over not kissing a high school friend who later passed away when she was 20 years old. It’s one of the most emotional songs on the album, and Kelce’s response first makes the movement even more moving.
Swift spoke about the truck at the official showgirl movie release party and said she wrote it while recalling her teenager. “It would have been fine to take the chance I didn’t (to love),” she said. “I was very trained in high school. It was very formidable and very nostalgic.”
The singer got a chance for Querce a few years later after making epic gestures at the new heights of the podcast.
“He’s the most enjoyable person,” Swift said on today’s radio show Heart Breakfast. “He’s so natural like life. It’s pretty fun because he’s never been nervous in all his life. He’s all about it. He’s fun, lively and has this infectious personality. I have a line in the song (‘wi $h li $t’).
