Meghan Markle celebrated the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2025 World Series victory by giving her husband Prince Harry a big kiss.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen reacting to the Dodgers’ Game 7 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in a video posted to Markle’s Instagram Story on Saturday night.
Prince Harry was seen sitting in a reclining chair in what appeared to be a private theater, and the host of “With Love, Meghan Markle” could be heard cheering from off-screen.
Markle then materialized and excitedly jumped up to the author of “Spare,” who remained reluctant in his seat.
When Harry wrapped her arms around him, she excitedly kissed him on the lips before throwing her arms up in excitement and exclaiming, “Oh my god!”
Markle then jumped up and down before hugging her friend, prompting a laugh from Harry.
The As Ever founder, 44, looked cozy in a black lounge set, while Harry, 41, looked relaxed in a collared shirt and pants. He looked like he was eating a box of popcorn.
The couple opted for a private screening of the heartbreaking game after facing backlash for their date night during Game 4 of the World Series earlier this week.
Prince Harry and Markle sat in the front row of Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Tuesday, and wore matching blue hats, Page Six reported.
The two were seen chatting and laughing throughout the MLB game, and even got up from their seats to clap.
They appeared to be in high spirits throughout the showdown, but were criticized for having better seats than some of the sports legends in attendance.
Internet users were outraged when they noticed that Prince Harry and Markle were sitting in front of former Dodgers pitcher Sandy Koufax and Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who owns a 2.3% stake in the Los Angeles franchise.
The former athletes didn’t seem to mind the disrespect in the seats as the Sussexes were seen having a friendly chat with Koufax. Markle and Prince Harry also posed for photos with Magic and his wife Cookie Johnson.
Prince Harry and Markle did not receive a warm welcome from some fans at the stadium, and were booed when they appeared on the jumbotron.
On Saturday night, the Dodgers defeated the Blue Jays, 5-4, in a thrilling 11-inning game to win their back-to-back championship.
