Ryan Gosling gave a rare insight into his and Eva Mendes’ crazy, silly love.
The actor was asked on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights” if he loves his movie soundtracks.
Oscar-nominated “Blade Runner 2049” co-star Harrison Ford specifically appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” earlier this month. The viewer understands that he did this “of course”.
But Gosling told podcast co-hosts Travis Kelsey and Jason Kelsey that the answer is a “resolute no.”
“That’s an easy, easy no,” the Golden Globe winner, 45, added.
Jason, 38, admitted he asked a “stupid question” but Travis, 36, laughed out loud.
Gosling quipped, “Of course Harrison does (those things). I always say, ‘You should never meet a hero other than Harrison Ford.'” He’s just as cool as you want him to be. ”
He went on to talk about the time on set when the 83-year-old went “crazy” and “kept half a bottle of Advil as a joke.”
The Emmy nominee joked, “He’s different from us. That’s who he is. … He’s the real deal.”
Ford married his wife Calista Flockhart in 2010.
As for Gosling, his love story with Mendes, 52, began in 2011 while filming The Place Beyond the Pines.
The private pair have since had two daughters, 12-year-old Esmeralda and 9-year-old Amada.
Mendes, who took a break from acting to raise her baby girl, admitted to Women’s Health in 2019 that she never wanted children until she met Gosling.
“Then it made sense for me to have his child and not my child,” she explained at the time. “It was something very special to him.”
The two sparked engagement rumors in 2016, but never confirmed the status. Mendes also didn’t address marriage speculation when she later got a “De Gosling” tattoo and referred to the “Barbie” star as her “husband.”
Fans were recently surprised to see Gosling bring his partner to the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage for a birthday surprise, marking the couple’s first appearance together in years.
In an online discussion on March 5, Gosling predicted that he might be found “tomorrow in the Hudson River” because of the stunt.
