Rumer Willis broke down in tears as she described how “difficult” it was for her daughter Louetta to be a single mother.
On Wednesday, the “House Bunny” actress, who has a 2-year-old child with ex Derek Richard Thomas, shared a video of herself wiping away tears while taking a walk in the woods on her Instagram Stories.
“I cried a lot in the woods… Being a single mom is hard some days,” she wrote above the photo.
“It’s not hard on her (by any means), but there are days when it’s hard to do everything by herself,” Willis, 37, added.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s eldest son added, “Wow, and (I) just realized I have food stuck in my tooth…Today was a real win.”
Rumer gave birth to Louetta in April 2023.
“You are pure magic,” the new mom captioned an Instagram post at the time. “You were born at home on Tuesday, April 18th. You are more than we could have ever dreamed of.”
Last August, more than a year after Louetta was born, Rumer revealed that she and Thomas, 31, had broken up.
“Are you and Derek still a couple?” one social media user asked Rumer during an Instagram AMA, to which the “Dancing with the Stars” alum replied, “No, I’m a single mom and co-parenting.”
Rumer added that despite their breakup, she is “so grateful” to her daughter.
“She is the best person in my life and I am forever grateful that I was able to spend time in that relationship for her to come into my life,” she told fans.
The following month, Rumer was spotted flirting with a mystery man outside a Los Angeles fire station.
