Kate Middleton knows how to set trends in movement.
On Thursday, the Princess of Wales debuted her new blonde hairstyle at London’s Museum of Natural History, with royal hairstylists predicting it will be everywhere in the coming months.
Joined by Middleton’s husband Prince William, Prince William, he wore hair highlighted in a massive amount of curls and out-of-center areas.
Neville Tucker, owner of Neville’s hair salon in Mayville, once was one of her favorite places to get Queen Elizabeth’s hair done, but Vanity Fair said the princess’ new colours are likely to spark trends.
“Kate wanted a strong look that was markedly different from what we were used to seeing her,” he told the outlet.
“She’s been playing with blonde tones for a while, but last year was the darkest thing she’s been doing for a while. It’s a very dramatic change, I think this is the blonde we’ve seen her.
Before this blond shade, the hair guru says that the trend is a brunette who, in her opinion, is defended.
“It was considered more fashionable, but when Kate becomes a blonde, it could spark a tendency for more people to look for blonde and honey tone highlights,” Tucker explained.
For her reveal on Thursday, the princess was dressed in a cute ballerina white WNU button-up ($190), black pants and a dark gray Ralph Lauren blazer with brown suede loafers.
Middleton was last spotted at Wimbledon 2025 in July and with chestnut hair.
We love this new era of beauty for her.
