Rosie O’Donnell’s troubled daughter Chelsea O’Donnell has been sentenced to prison for violating parole in a 2024 drug case.
A Wisconsin judge ordered Chelsea to serve time in prison after revoking her probation on October 22, Page Six confirmed.
Officials with the Marinette County Treatment and Drug Court team told Us Weekly, which first reported the news, that Chelsea was in violation due to sexual assault allegations.
The official also claimed that Chelsea has shown minimal progress in its therapeutic drug program.
According to Us Weekly, the filing states, “The facts surrounding this request, staffed by the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court team, have been deemed sufficient to warrant termination of the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court program.”
It is unclear how long Chelsea was sentenced to serve.
Following news of the verdict, Rosie took to Instagram to ask for prayers “as she faces a terrifying future” and shared a photo of Chelsea “before addiction took over her life.”
Page Six reached out to Wisconsin Assistant Public Defender Gabriel Beranek, the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team, and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
Chelsea has had several run-ins with the law over the years. In fact, he was arrested a total of three times in 2024.
In September 2024, the 28-year-old was detained in connection with a domestic dispute at her home with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund.
However, officers found a meth pipe allegedly left within reach of the son, “a black and silver digital scale, a bag of used jewelry with white residue, and a sharps container with additional used and unused hypodermic needles,” according to the police report.
A month later, Chelsea was arrested again for allegedly trying to throw a meth pipe out of her car window after being stopped in traffic.
After multiple arrests, Chelsea was sentenced to six years of probation.
Additionally, the troubled young woman had an estranged relationship with Rosie, who adopted Chelsea as a baby in 1997, for most of her adult life.
As the issue continues, Chelsea has filed to change her last name from Rosie, 63, in retaliation for having her last name reduced from the “View” alum’s $80 million will.
Chelsea filed paperwork in January saying she wanted to go by her mother Deanna Micholi’s maiden name, Neuens.
