“Diario, Mujer & Café” will be available exclusively in North America starting October 10th.
The release will begin in Kissimmee, Florida, followed by screenings in New York City, Chicago, and Universal City, California. It will then be available to rent and own on Digital HD Internet, DVD, cable and satellite platforms in North America on November 14th. The news comes after Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution arm of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, previously released the comedy in Puerto Rico.
The comedy’s official synopsis reads, “‘Diario, Mujer & Café’ tells the story of four best friends known as Tiki-Tiki who reunite for a whirlwind journey across Puerto Rico. What begins as a carefree vacation quickly becomes an action-packed adventure full of laughs, mishaps, and unforgettable moments that challenge you to see life in a new light. From the colorful streets of Old.” From San Juan to hidden beaches and breathtaking rainforest haciendas, Tiki Tikis rediscover themselves and each other as they embrace the beauty, flavors, and rhythms of the island. ”
Written, directed and produced by Roselyn Sanchez, Diario, Muger & Café was produced by Ann Clements, Frances Rosell, Andres Ramírez Molina and Paul Kampf. The featured cast includes Angelica Vale, Marise Alvarez, Carla Monroig, Angelique “Barb” Burgos, Clarissa Molina, Charitin, and Eric Winter.

Featuring a multicultural cast, this empowering story of women and friendship blends comedy and drama to create a moving and resonant experience for audiences.”
Freestyle Digital Media Freestyle Digital Media negotiated a deal directly with the filmmaker to acquire Diario, Mujer & Café. Hirsch Wallerstein Matthew Wallerstein of Hayum Matlof + Fishman LLP represented the filmmakers.
