Rosamund Pike and her youngest son were on game face during a mother-son outing this weekend.
The 46-year-old actress made a rare public appearance with her son Atom on Sunday, January 18, as they attended an NBA game in London.
Pike was sitting with his 11-year-old child watching the Memphis Grizzlies play the Orlando Magic at the O2. (The Tennessee-based team ultimately won 126-109.)
For the sporty outing, Pike wore an all-black ensemble of black shirt, pants, and shoes, which he paired with a large jacket in the same color. She accessorized her look with dark sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Atom wore a blue and white bomber jacket as he cheered on a basketball game with his famous mother.

Pike shares Atom’s son Solo with her longtime boyfriend Robbie Uniack, and they have been rumored to have been dating since 2009.
Solo was born in 2012 and Atom was born in 2014. Businessman Uniake is also the father of four children from a previous relationship.

In a 2014 interview with Glamor, Pike said that she owed much of her career success to becoming a mother for the first time.
“When you become a parent, you have less time to worry and overanalyze,” the Golden Globe and Emmy winner explained at the time, adding, “When you’re with your kids, you spend a lot of time re-experiencing the world as they experience it, and that has a feeding effect on your imagination. Imagination is key in my work.”

Although Pike often keeps her two sons out of the spotlight, she occasionally opens up about them in interviews.
“The good news is they’re a team,” the Gone Girl star said of her sons during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan in November 2018.
She further explained Solo and Atom, but said, “The bad news is they’re a pretty naughty team.”
Pike and Solo learned Chinese just like their father and now speak it fluently.
According to the South China Morning Post, Solo won the Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Contest in October 2024. Solo, who used his Chinese name “You Zhijun,” won in the elementary school category and was named “Chinese Future Star,” competition organizers shared in a Facebook post at the time.
