More recently, Holme was Chief Growth and Strategy Officer at Peter Chernin’s North Road Co. She was previously at WBD and served as group SVP for Global Content Strategy, Merchandising and Podcasts.
Warner Bros Discovery also introduced greenlighting and update processes based on HBO and HBO MAX originals and licensed content data.
Early in her career, Holme was the vice president of content acquisition at Hulu, and played a pivotal role in leading content licensing, co-production, partnerships and strategy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University.
“Lisa is an exceptional leader whose expertise extends to all aspects of the streaming content business,” Collier said in a statement. “She brings incredible skills to resonate with the audience, to deepen understanding of what drives platforms, and to leverage those data-driven insights. Her proven ability to build a team and those who bring her creative processes and stories to life will make her a valuable partner to give her a peek into Roku, our colleagues and ours.”
“We are delighted to be able to join Roku during such an exciting time in the evolution of the company. The momentum of the platform and the team’s commitment to innovation create the perfect environment that pushes creative boundaries even further.
