Variety exclusively reported that John Glenn has signed a contract with Range Media Partners. The prolific writer and producer continues to be repped by CAA and Sloan Offer.
Glenn currently serves as showrunner, executive producer and co-creator of the MGM+ series Robin Hood with fellow co-creator Jonathan English. The series, which launched in November 2025, stars Jack Patten as the titular hero of Sherwood Forest, Lauren McQueen as Marian, and Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham. The season 1 finale aired on December 28th. According to MGM+, the series was the most-watched series on the U.S. platform during the first week of January.
The show’s official logline reads: “After the Norman invasion of England, Rob, the son of a Saxon forestry businessman, and Marian, the daughter of a Norman lord, fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom.” Robb rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, while Marian works together to infiltrate court power, stop royal corruption, and bring peace to the land. ”
Glenn’s other television work includes serving as showrunner on the second season of CBS’ hit military drama “Seal Team” and executive producer on the NBC series “Allegiance.” He has also developed numerous projects across broadcast, cable and streaming.
Glenn began his career in a multi-studio bidding war for his feature script, Red World. Since then, he has written and produced films such as Eagle Eye, starring Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan, and Elevation, starring Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin and Maddie Hasson.
