Robert Irwin doesn’t dance for his health.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the Zootopia 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Nov. 13, the 21-year-old son of late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin reveals three ways he stays healthy while appearing on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars.
“I’m taped up and my legs are bandaged,” he said before sharing his physical self-care routine. “I do everything I can to keep my body in shape, including cryotherapy, saunas, and Epsom salt baths.”
Robert continued with a laugh, “I mean, it’s starting to break down a little bit, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

DWTS fan favorite Robert has been tackling the grueling dance genre with partner Witney Carson since the latest season premiered in September.
“The fact that I can give 100% and give everything to this process is just a privilege,” he said. “I’m like a dancer. To accomplish this in three months is crazy, crazy.”

Robert’s mother Terri Irwin and sister Bindi Irwin have supported him throughout the season, including cameos in two emotional dances.
In October, Terry, 61, joined in at the end of Robert’s rendition of Phil Collins’ You’ll Be in My Heart, which he dedicated to Terry.

Most recently, Bindi, 27, who won DWTS in 2015, helped Robert close out his performance to Leona Lewis’ “Footprints in the Sand” on Nov. 12.
