Robbers allegedly broke into Suits star Gina Torres’ Los Angeles home on January 30th.
Two male thieves broke into the actress’ Sherman Oaks home and stole about $225,000 in jewelry and cash, the New York Post reported, citing local police.
Authorities searched the home but were unable to find the two people who were believed to have fled the scene in a white sedan, the newspaper reported.
Los Angeles police told NBC Los Angeles that the thieves arrived around 7 p.m. local time, broke a window and entered the home, stealing $25,000 in cash and more than $200,000 in jewelry.
Torres was reportedly not home at the time of the robbery, and a neighbor who witnessed the robbery called police.
Torres, 56, known for his roles on Suits and 9-1-1: Lone Star, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter in 2025 about the Suits revival, which debuted on Netflix in 2023. The series ended in 2019, and Torres left the role in 2016, but she said she received much more recognition for her role as Jessica Pearson.

“Honestly, I don’t know what to make of it,” she said at the time. “It definitely made it harder to walk through the airport. That’s all I can tell you. I think this shows what a great show this was. This show taps into the kind of aspirational drive that we all have for ourselves and perhaps the future that we see for ourselves.”
People contacted the Los Angeles Police Department for more information about the robbery.
