Romy and Jake Reiner are trying to return to normal life after the brutal murder of their parents, Rob Reiner and Michelle Reiner.
According to exclusive photos obtained by Page Six, Romy was seen visiting a dog groomer and a CVS store with her puppy on February 19th.
Wearing a hoodie, brown sweatpants, and boots for an errand, she appeared to be in good spirits during the casual outing near her family’s home in Malibu, California.
As for Jake, he was seen heading to his baseball coach the next day.
Rob and Michelle’s eldest son wore sunglasses and a hat and held a baseball bat as he made his way to coach his Los Angeles-based team, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
On February 21st, Jake was seen again. This time he was running errands in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Maria Gilfillan.
Jake wore a blue USA hoodie and matching shorts, and also wore sunglasses and a baseball cap when out and about.
This is the first public appearance for Romy, 28, and Jake, 34, since late December.
At the time, they were photographed walking along the beach at their home in Malibu, weeks after their parents were stabbed to death on December 14, 2025.
Romy and Jake’s outing comes ahead of brother Nick’s February 23 arraignment.
Nick has pleaded not guilty to the brutal murders of his parents.
In court, he appeared emotionless, wearing a brown jumpsuit with his hands shackled.
Nick, 32, was formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder and waived his right to expedited arraignment at a court hearing on Dec. 17, just days after killing his parents.
At a Jan. 7 hearing, Nick’s prominent attorney Alan Jackson withdrew the case, allowing Los Angeles County public defender Kimberly Green to take his place.
Nick showed up at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles with sunken eyes, a shaved head, and a beard.
Romy and Jake (neither of whom were present at the hearing) told Page Six in a statement on January 7 that they “have the utmost confidence in the legal process and will not be commenting further on matters related to the legal process.”
Rob and Michelle were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home on December 14th.
The paper said Romy, who lived across the street from Rob and Michelle, discovered the body when he went to check on her after missing an appointment.
Nick, 32, who reportedly suffers from schizophrenia, was arrested the next day near the University of Southern California.
The night before his death, Rob and Nick got into a heated argument at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party, sources claimed to the Post.
He reportedly left his Santa Monica hotel room covered in blood on the day of the murder.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that the couple died from “multiple sharp force injuries,” and the cause of death was ruled a homicide.
Nick could be sentenced to up to life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.
He is currently being held without bail at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.
