Rob Reiner and Michelle Singer Reiner’s loved ones were photographed gathering at his sister Annie’s home on Sunday, one week after his tragic death.
Rob’s brother Lucas was seen wearing black pants, a blue button-up shirt and a black jacket.
Other guests at the gathering at Annie’s home in Los Angeles also brought boxes of what appeared to be food.
Rob and Michelle were found stabbed to death in their Los Angeles home on Sunday. Rob was 78 years old and Michelle was 70 years old.
Their bodies were returned to their families on Friday after autopsies by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office, People reported.
The heirs’ deaths were ruled a homicide, with their official cause of death revealed as “multiple sharp force injuries,” according to a Wednesday report from the LACME secretariat.
Officials previously told the Post that Rob and Michelle’s daughter Romy found the couple’s bodies on Sunday with their throats slit and multiple stab wounds.
The couple’s son Nick was arrested later that night in connection with his parents’ deaths and later charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
Nick, 32, remains in solitary confinement at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles and is on suicide watch after killing his parents, a law enforcement source told People.
Hours before their deaths, Rob and Michelle attended Conan O’Brien’s holiday party on Saturday night. While there, a lifelong family friend told the Post that Rob and Michelle got into a huge fight with Nick.
“The two got into an argument at Conan’s holiday party, and Rob told everyone he was scared of Nick and thought his mental health was deteriorating,” a source said.
According to TMZ, Nick was diagnosed with schizophrenia before his parents were killed, and the medication he was taking caused his behavior to be “erratic and dangerous.”
Nick’s arraignment is scheduled for January 7, 2026, and he is expected to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
