Riley Keough’s emotional letter to his grandmother, Priscilla Presley, was published and obtained by people in an amended lawsuit filed this week in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The filing filed by former Presley business partners Bridget Cruze and Kevin Fialco condemn Presley, age 80, for induction, breach of contract, conversion, misuse of name and likeness, and intentional interference with contract and future economic advantages. This includes dozens of exhibits, including a personal message Keough, 36, allegedly sent to her grandmother after Lisa Marie Presley’s death in January 2023.
“Unfortunately, you are taking me to court and I am forced to legally and publicly observe my mother’s wishes, which would not have been my choice,” writes Keou. “It’s really harmful that after years of trying to settle your broken relationship with your mother and recover our family, you’re taking me to the courts of all people.”

The letter also explains Lisa Marie’s intention to pursue legal action against her mother before her death.
“I have protected you from lawsuits from my mother, often defended for you, and always tried to keep everyone from getting away from love,” the letter reads. “Even a few weeks before my mother passed, she wanted to sue you again and you called me for help. I strongly urged you to object to it.
Meanwhile, the lawsuit filed against Presley alleges that the actress ignored her granddaughter Riley’s “pee, manipulating her by claiming she “loves her” her, and that they “need to be family.”
In Keefe’s letter to Presley, she criticized how quickly Lisa Marie’s battle with her fortune erupted after her sudden death at the age of 54.
“Less than 24 hours after my mother passed, I learned that she was being called out about her will after receiving an email from her lawyer before she was buried.
The message labelled Exhibit 36 was presented as evidence that Lisa Marie had prepared a lawsuit against Priscilla shortly before her death, and Kaew intervened personally to prevent this.
Kruse and Fialko also claim in their revised complaints that they “dive into action to prevent Priscilla’s financial ruin and embarrassment of the public.” Filing further describes Priscilla as “a calculated sociopath and a master’s degree in deception.”

In response to the lawsuit, Priscilla’s lawyer, Marty D. Singer, calls it “despicable.”
“Priscilla had nothing to do with the assassination of JFK. She doesn’t hide Area 51, fake a lunar landing, and secretly locks up Bigfoot in a Canadian cabin,” Singer told people in a statement.
“I’ll take off my foil hat and face reality,” he adds. “The lawsuit relates to Presley’s claims against Presley (and her co-conspirators), claiming that Cruze mercilessly engaged in a campaign of elderly abuse and fraud to control Presley’s finances for her own interests. The co-conspirators are liable for the tort.”
In response, Jordan Matthews, lawyer of Holtz Matthews LLP, representing Kruse and Fialko, said in a statement: Reckless behaviour. ”
