Rihanna’s latest look exudes high fashion luxury.
The singer stepped out on the red carpet at the 2025 Gotham Awards in New York City on Monday night, wearing a custom look by Balenciaga and standing by her partner A$AP Rocky.
The gown was made using luxurious pink silk. It’s shaped to form a bubble silhouette that falls through the drop waist into a long train, with Rihanna’s pale pink satin sandals hidden underneath.
The look, designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, was a bespoke version of the strapless dress that walked the runway in Paris just two months ago as part of the design house’s Spring 2026 collection.
The voluminous shape is statement enough, but Rihanna went even bolder with opera-length black leather gloves and a pink feather cap that matched the whole look. The hat was shaped like a traditional baseball cap with a short brim.
Around her neck was an oversized necklace from Bvlgari’s Color High Jewelery collection. Dubbed the Midnight Riviera Necklace, it features 18.74 carats of diamonds, 29.17 carats of rubellite, 80.36 carats of 5 cushion kunzite, and 70.36 carats of 4 cushion tanzanite in rich shades of pink and purple.
This is the 37-year-old’s second red carpet appearance since the birth of her daughter in September.
But this date night was worth dressing up for, as A$AP was nominated for Breakthrough Performer.
The rapper opted for a classic black Chanel suit for the night.
Although the two rarely appear on red carpets together, the couple recently twinning in Paris, where they enjoyed a coordinating night out last month, wearing both a leather coat and a fur jacket.
