Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are both style stars in their own right, but it’s hard not to notice when they team up on coordinated outerwear.
The power couple were spotted wearing matching brown fur coats during a date on the streets of Paris on Wednesday night.
Celebrity or not, the couple would have garnered attention at least a few times because of their twin looks and their public flirting sessions in front of paparazzi.
Rihanna opted for oversized jeans and a white T-shirt, which she layered with a short fur jacket. A$AP took it to the next level, wearing a long furry duster coat over jeans and a button-down. The rapper also carried a brown furry bag with “AWGE” written on a white background, wore a furry Chanel Trapper hat ($1,925), and wore matching Chanel shoes.
The fur bag is from AWGE, A$AP’s own creative agency collection, which has hosted two runway shows so far. The bag appeared on the runway in June, but has not yet been released.
Rihanna and A$AP just gave birth to their third child at the end of September, but that hasn’t slowed them down. The musical couple has maintained a busy social calendar since becoming a family of five.
Just a few days ago, the couple attended the CFDA Awards in New York, where Anna Wintour presented A$AP with the prestigious Fashion Icon Award.
Condé Nast’s CCO joked that the performer “didn’t show any signs of being the kind of guy who needed to be told,” adding that his biggest beauty influence was himself. A$AP Rocky, who co-chaired the Costume Institute’s collection “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last spring, said he was the inspiration for the exhibit, later saying, “The CFDA just made it official.”
Rihanna and A$AP are one of the power couples of modern fashion, always embracing head-turning styles, high and low combinations, and reaching for statement pieces that turn heads.
This latest look is no deviation from their wild wardrobe. But the couple took their style to the next level by wearing some flashy outerwear for a casual date night.
