Heather Gay claims to have gone undercover for a secret tryst with Captain Jason Chambers.
The reality TV personality opened up about her alleged relationship with the fellow Bravo star during Tuesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”
The crossover special featured Gaye, 51, organizing a yacht trip with his co-stars to Canouan Island in the Grenadines to visit the cast of Below Deck Down Under.
At one point, RHOSLC star Brittani Bateman, who expressed interest in the Australian captain earlier in the episode, accused Gay of “cheating” on Chambers.
“Jason and I are friends. We have a history,” Gay told his co-star in an alcohol-fueled exchange that was caught on camera. “I’ve wandered around before. It’s like there’s nothing there.”
Shocked, Bateman, 54, responded: “What do you mean by ‘fucking around’ ever?”
Gay replied, “We’re friends. Since we say we’re friends, we have a lot of freedom.”
But Gay seemed to regret spilling the tea. In her confessional, she claimed she didn’t remember the conversation and begged producers to cut it.
“Did I say that? Serious face? You can’t use that,” she begged. “I don’t know why I said that to her. Please delete it. Please delete it.”
Meanwhile, Whitney Rose shared a series of photos from her trip via Instagram on Tuesday, including one that showed Gaye standing near Chambers.
Page Six has reached out to Bravo, Gay and Chambers for comment.
Chambers has remained silent about the alleged relationship.
However, in a new interview with Us Weekly, the reality TV star admitted that he previously hung out with Gaye and Rose at various Bravo events in Australia, which led to this crossover.
He told the outlet that Gaye personally reached out to him to make the RHOSLC and Below Deck Down Under meet happen.
“They’re all so nice. We were so grateful.[The staff]felt happy to spend time with them. They’re really beautiful people,” Chambers gushed about Gaye and her co-stars.
“But we know what they like when we’re together. I get that. I’ve tried everything to relieve the tension. I’ve taken up yoga and Zen to try to stop it. But I don’t think there was anything we could do to calm it down.”
Back in February, Chambers stopped by Page Six Studios in New York City to share all the details of his time in Australia with some “fun” ladies.
“I got to spend four days with them… those two together… it’s like a comedy show,” he said of Gaye and Rose. “I couldn’t stop laughing. It was so much fun. It made everything so much better.”
He specifically added about Gay, “She’s a mess. She’s funny.”
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Tuesdays at 8pm ET on Bravo.
