“Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Meghan King has reportedly lost custody of her three children to ex-husband Jim Edmonds.
Following an investigation by Child Protective Services, King was granted supervised visitation, a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday.
The decision, made in the past few months, is temporary and a public hearing will be held to determine whether the arrangement becomes permanent, officials said.
The investigation is said to have begun after a school employee filed a report with CPS about King.
The outlet reported that a hearing will be held in December to make further decisions regarding custody.
Representatives for King and Edmonds did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
King, 41, was married to Edmonds, 55, from 2014 until they split in 2019 amid a cheating scandal. The couple had three children, daughter Aspen, 8, and twins Hart and Hayes, 7.
After their divorce, the two finalized a settlement in May 2021 in which they agreed to share joint custody.
King last made headlines in September, when police body camera footage showed her telling authorities that her ex-husband was “incredibly emotionally abusive” to her after the May incident.
Jim’s third wife, Courtney Edmonds, whom he married in 2022, called police on May 1 and accused King of trespassing on the gym’s property after arranging for his daughter-in-law to take off her dress.
However, according to a police report obtained by Page Six, “Meghan refused to give Kourtney the dress and ‘asked her to step back and speak to[her daughter].'”
After Courtney told King, 40, that the former MLB star and Aspen were out watching a baseball game, King called for her daughter from inside the house and stood a few feet away from the doorway.
The former Bravolebrity eventually left the house in a Jeep, but was later confronted by Frontenac police.
Charges against King were not pursued by the Frontenac city prosecutor after the incident.
Dr. King’s representatives later claimed that the ordeal had been “misrepresented.”
“Meghan made a brief phone call to her daughter from the doorway, never stepped inside, had the door slammed in her daughter’s face, and then calmly left her belongings on the porch. As she was leaving, she was unexpectedly stopped by multiple police vehicles and was treated in what felt like unnecessary hostility,” the spokesperson said.
