Porsha Williams’ attorney is speaking out after a video of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star being escorted off a Delta Airlines plane surfaced.
“Mr. Williams was verbally assaulted without provocation by an irate and otherwise calm passenger, who then continued to make false claims that directly contradicted the observations of multiple witnesses,” Williams’ attorney Joe Havasy told Page Six.
“As with any incident that occurs onboard an aircraft, federal authorities must conduct an investigation involving all parties involved to identify any violations.”
Havasy said Williams, 44, “has every intention of cooperating with law enforcement to the extent necessary and is confident that the passenger will be prosecuted.”
On Sunday, the former “Celebrity Apprentice” star was greeted by police after arriving in Atlanta after attending BravoCon 2025.
It’s unclear what happened, but a video obtained by TMZ shows Williams smiling and cooperating with authorities.
An FBI Atlanta spokesperson confirmed that this situation occurred, telling the outlet, “FBI Atlanta is aware of an incident allegedly involving Porsha Williams and/or at least one other person on a November 16 Delta flight.”
“We are evaluating whether federal charges may apply.”
Law enforcement officials also told the US Sun that Williams and a “female passenger got into an altercation on the flight.” They also pointed out that the only reason the FBI got involved was because of an incident that occurred in the air.
The newspaper reported that neither Williams nor the woman were detained after the plane landed.
Meanwhile, a representative for Delta confirmed to TMZ that two passengers were approached by flight attendants, but the flight was not interrupted due to the situation and the flight continued and landed without incident.
Williams remains tight-lipped about the situation.
However, she spoke passionately about her time at BravoCon, which lasted from Friday to Sunday.
The day after the incident, the “Real Housewife” shared several snapshots from her three-day weekend on social media, calling it “the ultimate mashup” and “the best reunion.”
She posed alongside “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp, and also attended multiple panels.
In another post, she said she felt like herself again after her divorce from Simon Guobadia.
