The Environmental Media Awards revealed the nominees and hosts for the 35th Annual Awards Ceremony. Notable candidates this year include episodes from “Rebirth of the Jurassic World,” “Wild Robot,” “Wicked,” “Abbott Elementary School,” “Simpsons,” “Alien: Earth,” “Yellowstone,” “Paradise,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Daily Show” on the feature film front.
This year’s awards will be hosted by “Love Island USA” host, actress and bestselling author Ariana Maddix with Netflix’s “Too Hot for the Handle” star and “Boyfriend Materials” podcast host Harry Josie.
In a statement, Maddix said: “It’s a real honor to host EMA Awards and bring awareness to a project that literally saves the planet. I’m excited to be part of a night where sustainability can shine and have a great time in the process!”

Ariana Madix and Harry Jowsey will co-host the Environmental Media Award on October 11th.
EMAS celebrates film and television productions that demonstrate environmental storytelling and sustainable production. It focuses in particular on the titles of stories that encourage climate and environmental action. The awards are listed in the categories of feature films, documentary films, documentary series, reality series, children’s series, drama series, variety series, and student films.
EMA board members who will be present include Malin Åkerman, star of Netflix’s “Hunting Wives.” Joining her is Emma’s Madeleine Petsch and Wendy Malick, sisters Nicky Garcia and Brie Garcia and Emmanuel Crichia, as well as talents such as Cathy Griffin, Selma Blair, Jenna Dewan, Kayley Cowan and Emma Young Hollywood Board Chair. Lancebass, co-chair of the EMA Executive Committee, will serve as Gala’s first celebrity executive producer.
The award will take place on October 11th at the Radford Studio Center in Los Angeles.
