Reba McEntire and Rex Linn are married!
People have confirmed that the couple is engaged after E! The news reporter was called his fiance on the 2025 Emmy Awards red carpet on Sunday, September 14th. McEntire, 70, and Lynn, 68, first met in the 1990s, but did not begin to meet until 2020 when they bonded in quarantine after their mother’s death.
“It happened a few months ago and they’re very happy,” the source tells people their engagement.
“In 2020, when Mom got sick, he called me,” Mcentire recalled today in October 2021. “We are both in young Sheldon, so we have seen each other before.
“And we’ve been inseparable ever since,” she continued.

Earlier this year, the actress was opened up about their special relationship and told Fox News that she “gets on all sides.”
“He cooks better than me, so certainly I like it. We love the Longhorns. We love the way cowboys live, the way cowgirls live.
“He’s an actor. I’m a singer. I love to act. Now we’ll act together,” she added.
The pair currently stars side by side at the sitcom Happy location alongside each other.
“We’re best friends. We want to cross the finish line with each other in a relationship,” he told WBIR Channel 10.

In an interview with People, Linn also shared what it’s like to be on set with Mcentire.
“Occasionally, I sneak up occasionally to keep moving just by the cheek.
In February 2024, McEntire struck a romantic connection with Lynn, saying, “Every day is Valentine’s Day for us.”
“We’re just the stupid, goofy people of the 60s who love life (and) each other,” she told people at the time. “We have fun. We’re terrible, goofy and have similar interests in almost everything, so it’s always fun.”
