Taylor Swift won Pop Album of the Year at tonight’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. Taylor Swift was nominated in nine categories heading into the ceremony. In her speech, Taylor Swift thanked her fiancé, Travis Kelce, for making her feel “happy, confident and free.”
Taylor Swift added to her collection of iHeartRadio Music Awards trophies this evening, winning Pop Album of the Year. The Life of a Showgirls singer, who arrived tonight with nine nominations, thanked her fans for inspiring the album’s “energy” – “happy, strong, confident and free” – and making “The Fate of Ophelia” “the biggest hit of my career.”
Swift also specifically addressed her fiancé, Travis Kelce, saying, “I think this album is probably also about feeling so happy and confident and free because my fiancé, who’s here tonight, makes me feel that way every day of my life.” Kelce received applause from the audience and mouthed “I love you” to Swift on stage.

I’m very happy to be here. It was so cool that Ray gave me this. Because I’m a huge fan of hers…and just being here with her fans, people who obviously love the music so much.
The album The Life of a Showgirl was really inspired by the energy I felt. It’s like looking into the crowd and seeing you guys and connecting with you guys every night. So this album came out with an energy of feeling really happy, strong, confident and free. So I would like to thank the fans for giving me that feeling.
And I think this album probably feels very happy and confident and free as well. Because that’s how I feel every day of my life because of my fiance who is here tonight.
So, thank you, thank you for all the vibes.
I really wanted to thank iHeart and everyone who cared about The Fate of Ophelia. Because you made it the biggest hit of my career. This is crazy at this point. I love my fans so much for giving me this ability. I love what I do. I’m so happy that this job has allowed me to do this for so long, and I’m just grateful every day I get to do it. Thank you very much.
Swift gave her last big acceptance speech at the 2024 iHeartRadio Awards ceremony, where she won Artist of the Year. “I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who voted for this award,” she said, thanking her fans and teasing her then-upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
“Dear fans, how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to be the soundtrack of your life is completely up to you. And to all of you who have included me in that choice, and to all of you who have included me in that choice, I really, really appreciate it. And as you know, we have a lot of exciting things ahead of us. I’m continuing to tour[with Elas]and most importantly, I’m The Tortured I have a new album called Poets.” Department will be released on April 19th and I can’t wait to share it with you. I am so thrilled and grateful that you voted for me for this wonderful honor of Artist of the Year. There are so many exciting things ahead and I can’t wait to keep having fun with you all. ”
