Alan Ritchson shared a quote on Instagram after a video of his fight with a neighbor over the weekend went viral.
On Monday, the actor posted a quote from Napoleon Bonaparte: “Never interfere when your enemy is making a mistake.”
The “Reacher” star, 43, did not caption the post.
Notably, he declined to mention Sunday’s fight when speaking to the Daily Mail early Monday.
“I can’t answer any questions about that right now,” Ritchson told the outlet. “An active investigation is underway.”
Law enforcement sources confirmed the same to TMZ, saying no arrests have been made.
As for the man Ritchson repeatedly punched in the video that made headlines, Ronnie Taylor spoke at length with TMZ about the altercation.
Mr Taylor said the situation “quickly escalated” when he demanded Mr Ritchson and two of his three sons stop speeding and revving their motorbikes before anyone was “injured”.
Taylor admitted: “He came towards me on his bike and I pushed him.”
After confessing to pushing Ritchson “a second time,” Taylor said, “I think the second time he got off his bike and kicked the shit out of me.”
“He punched me in the back of the head and I fell to the ground and covered myself,” he continued.
Taylor shared a photo of her facial injury to TMZ.
A source close to Ritchson told the magazine that Ritchson did not incite the violence.
Tensions with Taylor began on Saturday when the “Smallville” alum allegedly ran through the city alone, causing neighbors to run over each other.
Ritchson’s representatives have not yet responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
